Visit website →DyDo is a leading Japanese beverage company best known for its extensive network of vending machines, offering drinks while also driving sustainability initiatives like carbon-neutral vending and recycling programs.
Sustainability Initiatives
DyDo's "LOVE the EARTH" vending machines aim for carbon neutrality by offsetting electricity use with renewable energy certificates, offering optional carbon-neutral certificates, tree planting projects, and sustainable packaging — helping businesses and employees support decarbonization efforts with minimal hassle.
Nature Positive Targets
To achieve carbon neutrality in our direct emissions by 2030 and strive for carbon neutrality in our vending machine business by 2050.
Contributions
1,286 trees planted (as of December 2025). These trees will absorb 321.5 tons of carbon dioxide over the next 40 years.
Nature Positive Activities
Aforestation
To protect forests, which play a vital role as CO2 sinks, we have maintained a forest foster parent agreement with Asahi Village in Higashichikuma District, Nagano Prefecture since 2003. Our employees themselves form a "Forest Maintenance Team," actively working to pass on this rich natural environment to future generations.
Introducing low emission vehicles
Dydo is advancing environmentally conscious business operations, including the introduction of hybrid vehicles for sales representatives' cars used in developing vending machine locations, as well as for route managers' trucks responsible for vending machine restocking.
Reducing power consumption and utilizing renewable energy certificates
DyDo continuously strives to improve energy efficiency, reducing the annual power consumption of our main vending machines by 79.0% compared to 2000. We began full-scale introduction of vending machines equipped with a "heat pump function" in 2007.
